Here are some organizations to seek out in Vancouver-Fairview to get fit, have some fun, or just take in a ball game. Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club 16 tennis courts, 6 badminton courts, 3 singles and 1 doubles squash courts, plus swimming and spa facilities make the VLTBC one of Vancouver’s finest clubs. Vancouver Racquet and Fitness Club Dedicated to providing affordable Squash, Badminton, Fitness facilites and to promote athletic excellence, fair play in a spirit of friendship. Little Mountain Baseball Little Mountain Baseball offers Little League Baseball to children aged 4 to 12 years in Vancouver. Vancouver Olympic/Paralympic Centre at Hillcrest Park This state-of-the-art legacy facility is currently undergoing conversion to from its role as curling and wheelchair curling competition venue. Once complete it will boast a new community centre, ice rink, curling club, library, preschool, field house and offices. Be sure to visit the new destination aquatic centre with indoor and outdoor pools, Aquatic Centre at Hillcrest Park. Riley Park Community Centre Centre programs and services include sports, visual arts, performing arts, health and fitness, skating rink, and fitness centre along with numerous special interest programs. Douglas Park Community Centre Offers a wide range of programs for all ages, with a strong focus on preschool and school age activities. New programming for youth has resulted in a featured skateboard activity along with expanded offerings for seniors and people with disabilities. Includes a half gymnasium, popular exercise room and numerous activity rooms. The Vancouver Curling Club Since opening in 1949, the club has been home to 24 provincial Men's champions, 5 Women's champions, 4 Mixed champions, 5 senior Men's champions, 1 Junior Men's and 1 Junior Women's champion. Vancouver Canadians Vancouver’s very own baseball team is the Single-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. Since 2000, the Canadians have played in the Northwest League but have a history dating back to the 1920s. Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium Represents over 200 shops and services on Cambie Street.
