What makes for a strong economy are the businesses that make up our community. Vancouver-Fairview is enriched by the numerous businesses and business owners that are integral to Vancouver’s success. Below are a few resources for the local business sector:

WorkBC

A new, comprehensive online service for British Columbians seeking career and skills development information, employers looking to improve labour productivity, and skills training service providers interested in emerging best practices.

Bizpal an online tool that helps businesses streamline application processes for federal, provincial and municipal permits and licences.
Worksafe BC Promotes workplace health and safety, consulting with and educating employers and workers and monitor compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. In the event of work-related injuries or diseases, WorkSafeBC works with the affected parties to provide return-to-work rehabilitation, compensation, health care benefits, and a range of other services.
Worker's Compensation Appeal Tribunal (WCAT) is an independent appeal tribunal external to the Workers’ Compensation Board, operating as WorkSafeBC. It is the final level of appeal in the British Columbia workers’ compensation system.
Vancouver Board of Trade With a membership of over 5,800 businesses, the Board’s mission is to help businesses of all size to grow and prosper.
Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce Now in its 75th year, and representing more than 600 businesses, the Kitsilano Chamber is also one of the most active chambers in the Lower Mainland.
Chambre de Commerce Franco-Colombienne A great resource and advocate for Vancouver’s francophone businesses and community at large.
South Granville Business Improvement Association The South Granville BIA represents businesses between the boundaries of Granville Street from 5th Avenue to 16th Avenue (N/S) and to the laneways on the east and west side of Granville, and on the south side of Broadway between Granville and Fir.
Cambie Village Business Association Represents over 200 shops and services on Cambie Street.
